These Hands

Suicide Prevention Month is drawing to an end, but Veteran suicide is not.

This is an ongoing problem for our nation, especially for our Warriors. I read with sadness the other day about yet another of our brothers who succumbed to the pain and suffering his invisible wounds were causing him. Statistically, there were 21 more just like him that day. This is heartbreaking and unacceptable.

Watch out for your buddies. If you know a Veteran who might be struggling, find a way to check up on them. If you’re a Vet who’s struggling, it’s okay to ask for help.

Call 800-273-8255 or send a text to 838255.
